P&M Apparel started in the basement of Phyllis and Melvin (the P and the M), who took up custom apparel as a new career after farming and remodeling homes most of their lives. Their daughter Kay took over a few years after the business moved to Polk City, and two of her children, Megan and Ryan, joined the ranks as it grew. Megan and Ryan took over ownership in 2023.
Since 1987, we've helped businesses, schools, nonprofits, and communities create apparel people are proud to wear, through screen printing, embroidery, promotional products, online stores, and on-demand fulfillment. We've grown from Central Iowa to the whole state, the country, and lately, the world.
